Black History Month began as "Negro History Week" in February 1926, initiated by historian Carter G. Woodson. It expanded into a month-long celebration in 1976. Since 1976, every US President has acknowledged Black History Month. The NY Capital Region NSBE Professionals have created a tribute video using HeyGen video agent to acknowledge the accomplishments of Black Americans in STEM fields through history.
